Dear Friends and Benefactors

You may be surprised to learn that this section of the web is not about money! Rather, it is about what your money can accomplish. In fact, I prefer to think of giving more as investing – things that bring maximum returns compared to the amount I’ve contributed such as:
Investing in a worthy cause – like high-quality Christian education
Investing in youth, those who will soon be entrusted with the future of this church and of this world – environmentally, socially, ethically, politically, theologically….

And, while it is true that large donations achieve great things, it is the collective small amounts that have proven to keep NEWBOLD going operationally and emotionally. We have so many to thank, those who have supported the College over its 110 years. Our benefactors include
British clothier business owner TC who gives an annual gift toward restoring our historic  Grade II Moor Close Gardens, and

Finnish-born AK who donates quarterly from her pension to fund scholarships for business students, and

the Newbold College Councillors, an American-based alumni group, who fund projects intended to generate additional financial resources for the College.

We have three primary concepts in mind when seeking funding partners:
1.     to maximize the learning experience of each student  - through state-of-the-art technology in each classroom and study area, the media centre and library; by College-owned transportation that allows students’ access to unique sites for learning (such as the British Museum) and extra-curricular activities such as choir tours; and by maintaining an aesthetically inspiring, eco-friendly campus,

2.     to serve as a resource for youth – whether or not enrolled as a student, whether or not they subscribe to the tenants of our faith – a place where their questions can be explored and answered, where deeply meaningful friendships can be formed and other means of support found to enhance their life’s journey, and

3.     a centre that offers programming, space and other resources for churches, local businesses and community groups in search of a retreat centre, a small meeting room or a large conference facility the service of which then generate another funding stream for operations of the College beyond that of relying solely on tuition income.
